At MANA BEAUTY LAB, transparency in ingredient sourcing and formulation is one of our core values.
In this article, we’ll share insights into the percentage of natural and organic ingredients found in our product formulations — all developed in accordance with the strict Ecocert COSMOS standards.

Natural-Certified Formulas
While percentages may vary by product, our natural-certified formulas generally contain at least 95% natural ingredients. For exact figures, please refer to individual product descriptions.

Organic-Certified Formulas
Our organic-certified formulas go a step further. They contain:
– At least 95% natural ingredients
– At least 10% ingredients from organic farming
– And 95% of all plant-based ingredients must be organic

The only sulfate that we use in our products is sodium coco sulfate (SCS), which is approved by the third-party certification organisation COSMOS. SCS does not penetrate the epidermis and is far less irritating than the often-used sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).

You can be sure that all MANA BEAUTY. LAB products are free from parabens, mineral oils, silicones, PEG, chemical UV filters, microplastics, synthetic fragrances, artificial colourants and other questionable ingredients.

Airless packaging helps keep our products fresh by preventing air from entering the container. Because of this, the Period After Opening (PAO) is not specified. Instead, you only need to look at the “best before” date printed on the product.

This ensures that you can use our products safely and effectively up until the “best before” date, regardless of when you open them. Always check this date to make sure your product is within its optimal usage period.

Formulation
We start by following ingredient guidelines and testing dozens—sometimes hundreds—of variations to find the perfect formula.

Cruelty-Free Testing
We never test on animals. All testing is done on volunteers who provide feedback on skin reactions and product experience, helping us refine the formula.

Lab Testing
Each formula is tested in labs to assess stability, shelf life, and storage standards. Certified chemists ensure compliance with all safety regulations. External labs also verify preservative effectiveness.

Batch Consistency
Every production batch is checked to ensure it matches the original lab-approved formula in both physical and chemical properties.
